I have just made this recipe and it is very runny, will it set over-
night? If not what have I done wrong?

@Emily, in Italy we don’t use Marsala, only coffee. Anyway I wouldn’t use wine at all…

Amazing. I made this is individual ramekins. Was enough for 8 but people begged for more. I used Cointreau. Added a hint of orange. Making again tonight.

Made this a couple of times now (even for Italian family and friends), it excellent and very very easy. I use Tia Maria, but don’t worry about using Marsala as it last a long time after opening – just like sherry.

can we use any wine instead of marsala?
because i dont want to buy a whole bottle of marsala wine
just for this.. i only have red wine and no i don’t have sherry
